1. Services Description

Tank Inspection Services provides professional inspection services for industrial equipment, including but not limited to:

• API 653 aboveground storage tank inspections
• API 570 piping system inspections
• API 510 pressure vessel inspections
• Non-destructive testing (NDT) services
• Welding inspection and qualification services
• Tank design and engineering services

2. Professional Standards

All services are performed in accordance with applicable industry standards, including API, ASME, ASTM, and AWS codes. Our inspectors maintain current certifications and follow established professional practices.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients engaging our services agree to:

• Provide safe access to equipment and facilities
• Ensure proper preparation of equipment for inspection
• Provide accurate information about equipment history and operating conditions
• Comply with all safety requirements and regulations
• Provide necessary permits and authorizations
• Make timely payment for services rendered

4. Inspection Reports

Inspection reports are prepared based on observations made during the inspection and are subject to the following limitations:

• Reports reflect conditions at the time of inspection only
• Inspections are limited to accessible areas and agreed-upon scope
• Reports do not guarantee future performance or predict service life
• Reports are confidential and intended only for the client

5. Limitation of Liability

Tank Inspection Services shall not be liable for:

• Conditions not visible or accessible during inspection
• Client's failure to follow recommendations
• Damages resulting from continued operation of defective equipment
• Consequential, indirect, or punitive damages
• Damages exceeding the fees paid for the specific service

6. Safety and Compliance

All work is performed in compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations. Clients are responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and complying with all regulatory requirements for their facilities.

7. Confidentiality

We maintain confidentiality of all client information, inspection results, and proprietary data. Information will not be disclosed to third parties without client authorization, except as required by law.

8. Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in individual service agreements. Standard terms include:

• Payment due within 30 days of invoice date
• Late payments subject to interest charges
• Client responsible for all collection costs
• Services may be suspended for non-payment

9. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fees may apply based on notice period:

• More than 7 days notice: No charge
• 3-7 days notice: 25% of estimated fee
• Less than 3 days notice: 50% of estimated fee
• Same day cancellation: 100% of estimated fee

10. Intellectual Property

All reports, documents, and materials produced by Tank Inspection Services remain our intellectual property. Clients receive a license to use materials for their intended purpose but may not reproduce or distribute without permission.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

Services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that inspections will detect all defects or that equipment is fit for any particular purpose.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Panama. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with commercial arbitration rules.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services following changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
